Come to Stitcher's Stash and stay cool this hot summer. Take a class or join one of our stitching groups.
If you have not been by the shop lately, come in and see all the wonderful new designs and models
we have on display. The staff and I wish everyone a safe and happy summer! Special Hours For more information please call Stitcher's Stash (703) 218-3131 CLASSES As the year proceeds, we will offer classes in penny wool applique, hardanger and ornament finishing. Look for future announcements. Rug Punch Rug punch classes will be held twice this summer, July 12th and again on August 9th. Each class is a one 3-hour session and will be held on a Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Class size is limited to six so call early to register. The fee is $65.00 and includes the preprinted pattern on Monk's Cloth and wool yarn. All other tools needed can be purchased or borrowed from the shop. The teaching piece is approximately a 10" square and would make a wonderful pillow. To sign up for a class please call the shop (703) 218-3131 HURRY! Space is limited. Penny Wool Our next Penny Wool project is a darling strawberry box with scissor fob. Class will be taught on Saturday, July 19th, from 1:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. Class size is limited to 10 so call early to register. The fee for this class is $69.95 and the kit includes everything (to include the painted box) with the exception of scissors and a thimble which we recommend. To sign up for a class please call the shop (703) 218-3131 HURRY! Space is limited. Punchneedle Punch Needle classes will also be held twice this summer, July 26th and again on August 23th. This class is also a one 3-hour session and will be held on a Saturday from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Class size is limited to six so call early to register. The fee for this class is $25.00 and includes everything needed with the exception of a 3-strand punchneedle, a five inch hoop and scissors. The teaching piece would make a wonderful pin or ornament. Beginning Linen Our last class for the summer is Beginning Linen which is scheduled for August 16th from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Class fee is $15.00 and includes a complete kit with the exception of scissors and a small hoop or frame, if needed. Taking this class will help you get over your fear of stitching on linen. Class size is limited to six so call early to register. To sign up for a class please call the shop (703) 218-3131 HURRY! Space is limited. EVENTS Stitcher’s Night Out This event continues to be popular and is enjoyed by all who attend. We meet every other Thursday evening from 6:30 till 9:00 p.m. Several of us meet at 5:00 p.m. for dinner at a local restaurant within walking distance. Please call or come by the shop to let us know that you would like to attend. There is no fee for this event. Stitcher’s Day Out Our Stitcher’s Day Out Group meets every Wednesday in the shop from 1:30 till 4:30 p.m. Everyone is welcomed to join us. Bring those unfinished projects you’d like to complete. We offer a lot of encouragement to our fellow stitchers. There is no fee to attend this event.
